Hi

I have a question regarding license key.

I already installed valid License key and it is

successfully installed but I didnt

delete the temporary License ..now after the temporary

License expired system is not allowing me to

login saying that "Logon not possible(error in license check)"....I can only login through sap* in the system now how to get back to the system to the normal status.

Hi Manjula,

Please check the status of the license you have installed through Slicense.Also Plz ensure that the license you have requested in SMP is the correct one.

If you are using release>700(2004s) you will need the digital license.Be also sure that you click on new license tab before installing the new license.

Kindly revert in case of any clarifications.

hi

u can get new license key from sap in installed it through sap

delete previous one on OSS portal

generate license key from OSS

that will solve ur problem

Hi All,

I have deleted the old license from slicense and installed the new license obtained from SAP Marketplace logging through sap*/000. Still when i login through Administartor i get the same error as Error in License Check. Also in System--status its showing the old expiration date.

Please suggest a way out for this.

Hi,

Check the system status properly, we have three different licenses keys

netweaver : applies for netweaver both abap+java

j2ee : applies for only java

standard : applies for only abap, and also for abap+java

what ur system is configured, check it and apply the same by the above said incedences.

The license key applied is Standard and the server also has ABAP componenet in it. I also applied for another license in the last 2 days and applied the new one by deleting the old one in slicense. But still I am getting License check error. Please help me out.

UR having key with U means then try to install properly T-code:relicenses

once again install properly it will be installed properly.

If you're getting this message is because the license you installed is not valid... if it was valid theres no need to delete the old license.

Request a new license at SAP Marketplace.
