Netweaver Standards supported by XI

Hi, Can someone explain the necessary Netweaver Standards supported by XI?

hmmm Netweaver standards????

Netweaver is an Open Integratio platform , which is collection of technologies like XI, BI, MDM,EP,MI..... .

So Xi is part of Netweaver ...so supports all open standards like XML,WSDL, and SOAP .....

can you tell me in what context you got this question?

I agree with you that Netweaver supports all open standarrds. But I need to know what are the aspects of Netweaver componenets that make it possible to support these Open standards.

Hi,

Netweaver Components are based on Java as well as on ABAP stack. And all of us know very well that Java is platform independent.

Netweaver components also supports .NET, which is also platform neutral.

Thus this would the good reason that Netwearver should support all open standards.

Ok , So your question is How Netweaver products support Open standards ?

Ans: Because of its Java stack.....also SAP has chosen all open standards to build its products in Netweaver ..I can tell you one example ...all adapters in XI are based on JCA standard , which is followed by the industry....like wise all other products also followed Industry standards .
