can any body explain me the relation between warehouse,plant,distribution center and depot with respect logistics.

can any body explain me with scenario.

Dear balu

Let me try to explain in a simple way.

Plant is a unit from where goods are manufactured and supplied to warehouse, distribution center and depot. Plant and Depot are inter related with each other bcoz we are stock transferring from plant to depot. But warehouse or distribution center may be within a company code or can be a third party also
