Batch Determination

Hi,

I am facing an issue of batch determination.

I have created a characteristics for expiration date VFDAT from MCH1 table.

Assigned to a sort with ascending sequence.

I have four bacthes as follows,

0000000377 - 31.12.2008

0000000378 - 01.01.2009

0000000379 - 25.12.2008

0000000380 - 24.12.2008

I expect the determination to first for 380 batch and then for 379, 377 and 378 order when the selection criteria value is > 20.12.2008.

But the system determines 377 first and then 378, 379 and 380 order.

Please let me know if anything additional I should have done or maintained.

Tried again with proper check for the assignments. It worked!!!
