Hi Deepthi,
Difference in both of reports is due to that MC.A is picking the values from stock movements while Z-ALR_87012277 or S-ALR_87012277 is picking the values from the respective G/Ls.
However If anybody make the direct posting in G/L then this update will be reflect in ALR report but it will not be visible for MC.A or any other stock valuation tcode because direct posting in G/L dosn't involve any material movements.
Hope you are getting me....

Dear deepti
I presume your tcode Z_ALR_87012277 is developed from standard S_ALR_87012277. MC.A and the report you are using are entirely different.
May be you can compare with MB5L

1. The Z-report is your own creation, so what is the logic you used, no body in this forum know it.
2. Assuming that Z-ALR_87012277 is a copy of S_ALR_87012277, the reason for any diffrence with MC.A will be the direct FI posting that may have done to the Stock GL. Though normally direct posting to such GL is not allowed, but by modifying the GL (FS00 t-code) one can make direct posting. Please check.
