Regarding Batch Jobs

Hi All,

I need a clear understing on the batch jobs.

I am working in sap sd and novice about the batch jobs.

My doubts are as follows:

1) what is a batch job.

2) how to schedule and trace the batch jobs and what are all the transaction codes.

3) what is a variant and how it is related to the batch jobs.

4) Is there any specific programs for running the batch jobs for delivires and billing and transaction codes.

If I miss any thing related to the sd batch jobs please mentioned those all.

Note: how to run the bath job for deliveries and biiling.

Definitely I will assign the points for your effort.

For deliveries the program setup in batch is RVV50R10C and for billing it is SAPMV60S, use the transacton SM36 to define your own batch program.
