Dear All,
We have a scenario where a Customer rings to place an order with the parts Customer Service Rep (CSR). He needs several items and wants to know price, availability and delivery for each.
Item A (in-stock) with 10% discount
Item B (in-stock) with supercession
Item C (nil-stock) required in 4-weeks
Item D (nil-stock) required immediately
Item E in-stock, but allocated to a less important customer
Plz guide.
Regards
Subrat
Item A: CSR has no powers to grant discount. Discount information comes from master records maintained for this customer. In case customer is eligible for discount, CSR can confirm the discount. Otherwise customer has to wait until discount record is created
Item C & 😧 If there is no stock, system determines when stock is available by availability check settings done already. CSR can just confirm when the stock would be available and when the stock can be delivered.
Item E: In case this customer is more important than other customer, then rescheduling can be done at delivery stage so that stock already allocated to less important customer can be transferred to this important customer.
Item B - I did not understand what is meant by supercession but since stock is available, delivery can be confirmed.
