Hi Sonali,

As per my knowledge there is no such facility to send automated messages to System Admin in case of any failures. Failures can be seen in the Logs table to track the exact cause. Also Reports table is helpful to get the information related to that particuler repository.

Hi Sonali,

Yes it is possible to archive only few records. For this you need to create the mask and add the records which you want to include in the new archive and while archiving go to options and pass that mask name. You will get only the masked records in the new archive.

Hi Sonali,

Archived file gets saved in C: ->Program Files->SAP MDM 5.5->Server->Archives folder of your server machine.

For unarchiving it, Right click on server name, Choose "Unarchive repo" option. It wil ask you for DB login password. Provide that. Click on next. It will ask you for the repo name you want to create and archive name from which u want to create repo.

Hello Sonali,

We can see MDM system failures by watching logs. There are many type of logs like server logs ,syndication logs ,import logs etc.

There u can seee the reports of failures in console.
