Dear all
Under no circumstances approver should be able to change the original ? is it possible in DMS?
at the same time he should be able to send comments while rejecting or releasing the document
final authority should be with the creator of document?
Regards
Sandeep
You could do this simply by making the approval status a locked status.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Assignment of a signature strategy to a status needs the document status to be locked.Without locked status it doesnot allow us to assign a signature strategy.
Secondly, when the concerned person signs the document digitally it asks for comments.

Hi Sandeep,
I think this is only possible with a BADI implementation of BADI_DOCUMENT_AUTH01 or BADI_DOCUMENT_FILES01.
Because with the standard authorization objects an user who is able to edit a document info record or add any comments is always able to word with the original too.
So from my point of view this can only be restricted by a special authorization check on the username if he tries to edit the original.
Best regards,
Christoph
