How billing schema and rate determination gets executed while billing`

Hi all,

Could anybody please tell me what actually happens in the bachground when we do billing execution?

Functions of Billing Schema and Rate Determination during billing execution.

Hello,

First you define the rates i.e list of variant programs as per your scenario.

suppose take only one rate step in rate as one variant program i.e Quanti01

you define operands for this.

You select this rate in ur billing schema.

The two very important steps in rate structure are

Rate type

Rate category

You place the Billing schema in rate category

and do the Rate determination for both rate type and rate category.

we can include the different rates in Billing schema so as to execute our billing procedure.

In the table ERTFND check the rates applicable for the respective rate cat + rate type.

(Only) These rates will be executed in the sequence defined in the schema.
