Dear vijay

This is bcoz status profile is assigned to order type through which some authorization is defined.

Go to VA02, input the sale order and execute. At header level, select [Status] tab so that you can see on the right screen some controls would have been defined. Change according to your requirement and proceed.

For information, you can also change this control in BS02, where you double click on the status profile so that you can see some short text controls. Again double click on the Short text so that you can see the controls. Change it to suit your requirements.
