HOW TO IMPORT A SAPSCRIPT LAYOUT THROUGH THE PROGRAM RSTXSCRP

hi,

We were able to export a sap script through the program RSTXSCRP.

Could anyone give us steps to import the sapscript from text file through the same program.

Hi,

IF using 'RSTXSCRP' to export or import script try like below

1.execute the program.

2.check the radio button for the type of export or import if what you are trying to ork on is a script form or a style or text

3. Language like EN

4.Put the object name the name of the form or the style

5. in the box for control parameters you want the file on the front end ie at the os level or if you ant it at the fiel level mention the path.

6.Execute

Hi,

why you need to export and import the form?

you just goto SE71 t-code and menu option utilities and then select copy from client then

give the source form "mederuck" and Target form "zmederuck"

hi,

We tried to export the sapscript medruck

and the file is saved in zmedruck.for.

Now when we tried to import it we are getting the error

"ERROR: Dataset does not contain object ZMEDRUCK but MEDRUCK"

can you help me with this.....

I am getting the same error while importing SAP Script by RSTXSCRP.

Hi Piyush,

To download use the export button and for uplaod use import button.

Points here to note is:

If the form is already existing , then it will be over written by the new form(which we uploaded from PC) .

The Objectname and the name of the file should be same.

And also if you are trying with standard script like medruck it wont work try with custom scripts.
