Special Instructions from Sales Order to Production Order

Hi,

I got a specific below requirement.

Scenario: MTO Material

When i create a sales order with special instructions for production of this material. This instructions to be flowed from Sales order (VA01) to Production Order(CO01).

These instructions to be flowed in the form of text or through any other way. I know that workflow is one option for this scenario which my client is not having.

Can anybody give thier expertise in this regards

Dear Srikanth,

In MTO Scenarion you have to follow these process.

1.In Material Master in MRP 3 tabe page you have to maintain strategy group 20

2.After creation of sale order you have confirm the requirement type in Procurement tab in sale order.This should be Make to order as per your requirement type.Once you confirm as in sale order ,it will prefer make to order scenario.

My requirement is clear.

I want the text maintained for specifications in sales order to be flown to production order.

I dont have variant configuration in my project.
