Batch Management in MMR

Hi Gurus,

Can U explain What is the importance of below three fields in batch management.

I want to know the the effect of these fields in batch management.

IN MMR -Sales: General Plant Data tab

1. Availability Check- CH-batches

2.Batch management( Check Box)

3.Appr.batch rec.req ( Check Box )

Hi,

Availability check: - Specifies whether and how the system checks the availability of the material and generating the requirement for the materials planning.

Batch Management: - Specifies whether the material is managed in Batches.

Appr.batch rec.req :-You use this indicator to specify that the following activities

be performed after the relevant batch record has been approved:

o Making the usage decision for an inspection lot of the orig

receipt from production

o Changing the batch status from Restricted to Unrestricted
