workflow user licences

hi all,

We have got an issue with respect to user licences. In travel workflow email will go to many users to approve the workflow step. Most of these users are not SAP users.

Just for this workflow step these users will have to be created in SAP. These users will only be using this workflow step and nothing else in SAP. So still a full licence fee is required for each user or we can such users are not considered as SAP users with respect to licencing.

Please advise.

dedicated user is the right idea we implemented. So just one user need to be maintained. Thanks.

hi,

we have an idea to brought the workflow out of SAP, using third party in example using SAP Connector.

- first we must defining workflow on that third party software,

- pulling necessary information from SAP

- process it on that workflow

- and revert back the feedback information to SAP (trigger a task to do a workflow using a dedicated user)

benefit :

- you just need only a user to communicate between your SAP system and third party, and to trigger a workflow task as mentioned on step 4 above

- flexibility, as your workflow is able tobe customized, eg to be run on web/ mobile
