Hello,
In sales order type, there is a field order probability.
What is it used for?
Where can i see this field in sales order?
May
When a sales inquiry or quotation is created, you may want to know whether or not the customer will follow through with a purchase.
The system uses an order probability percentage from the customer master record and combines it with the order probability percentage of the sales document type.
The combination of the two percentages results in an order probability percentage.
for example if order probability in sales order type 'quotation' is 90% and order probability in customer master record is 80%, system calculates order probability percentage.
This percentage is available for lists of sales documents; thus, you can create a list of sales quotations that has the highest probability of being confirmed first.
Order probability field can be seen in Item sales tab of Quotation.

Order probability field can be found in sold to party customer record, sales area data button, sales tab.
If customer record has 100% as order probability and order type has 70% order probability, then system calculates order percentage as 70% of 100% which would be 70%.
You can try creating a quotation and see whether system arrives at 70% (before creating quotation, change the order probability values in customer master and sales order type)
