Hi All,
I have sceduled BI jobs and they are getting cancelled every day. when i am checking the log it is giving error like " error reading job log" I am not able to open the error log. Is this problem with authorization? please help me out in this regard.
If this is a problem with any Auth. Obkect please let me know that.

I met this problem many times, and each time, I re-scheduled the standard BG jobs by SM36, and the problem sovled soon.
But I don't know why it happened.

Also check the trace file in the work directory for that particular background workprocess in which the job is running.
You may find some information.

please read on SM21 - System Log, is there any information or error related to BG job error ?
please kindly explain here in detail if there is error message related.
few days ago we have experienced the same problems on one application server only, this is solved by remount NFS of our directory /sapmnt/<SID>

Do you have sufficient Background work processes to address these jobs?
Do you have any crictical jobs other than these running on the system then you may have to look for system resources.
