getting multiple number of mails in ALERTINBOX and personal mail INBOX

Hi Experts,

I have configured Alerts by , previously its working fine, but yesterday i got 800 mails to Alert Inbox and my mail box after recycling the XI Dev Box. Please give me any suggestions to prevent unnecessary multiple mails with out any error in SXMB_MONI.

Hi Dhanush,

Select the option Suppress Multiple Alerts of This Rule in alert rule. Also select the option Max. No. of Dels as 1 in the alert category.

He was referring to the ALRTCATDEF transaction Field(Max Number of Dels) in Properties tab.
