Which Scenario to choose?

Hi,

How to tell which scenario to choose.. when a client is going for implementatation..

Don't tell me that it's purely on client business process...:-)

As we have classic,extended classic,standalone,decoupled... which is the perfect one and why?

Hi Sameer,

I will recommened you to propose controlled extended classic scenario / decoupled scenario. this will give client more flexibility. Its possible using Badi BADI BBP_EXTLOCALPO_BADI .

Extended Classic scenario has lot to offer...

1. Its covers the whole P2P process.

2. You can use IPC pricing since the PO is created in the SRM.

3. Have a possibility to have a flexible approval process if the PO is changed. in classic scenario, PO can be modified in the R3 and has no relation to the SC approval already happened.

Standalone:

Has no Payment possibililty that is no FI integration.

However, there could be lots of pro and cons.... As a consultant I cant avoid saying 'it's purely on client business process...:-)'
