Hi Gurus,

While posting goosd following error is displayed

"Posting only possible in periods 2002/11 and 2002/10 in company code

Please Help me with the Transaction code

After Closing Periods from & to U may Still get Posting is not possible , in this case go to OMS2 and click on material type u r cuurently using press on quantity/Value updating, Select Valuation Area Material type and Check whether Quantity updating and Value updating are ticked or not, if not please tick the two tabs and raise the invoice. Surely problem subsides. if further problem arises with INT_gbb etc then use T.Code OBYC and click on the subject( Ex: GBB) and

opy related field( Int_Gbb etc) and get back to me

Frist go to OMSY t.code up to which month it posting is possible see after that , go MMPV- T.code change the month by month&year you will achive this 100%.

Hello,

The materials management posting periods are in 11/2002. You need to close them for each month until 07 2008. Use the transaction code MMPV and input your company code, period as 12 and year as 2002, execute. If it is successful the system will ahow a message "company code converted".

Now you need to cose 01 2003 by the same methd, then 02 2003.... so on upto 07 2008.

Material posting can only be done for current period i.e. 2008 / 07.

It appears, posting period as per your material master record is 2002 / 11

You can check this in your material record, plant stock tab, current period field.

In order to bring your material record period to 2008/07 go to MMPV, close periods for each month starting from 2002/11 until you come to 2008/07.

What you have to do is enter your company code in from & to field, then period & fiscal year field and click execute.

when doing this you would get some information message. Just click OK and continue for other periods.

If it is FI posting then go to OB52 and change the dates

If it is MM postings then it is MMRV

Hi,

Check your posting period using tcode MARV.

Intialize period using tcode MMPI.

Open new period using tcode MMPV.
