Sales Order

Hi Gurus,

While creating a sales order following error is displayed

"Material M1 is not defined for sales org, distr.chan, language EN"

I have checked the sales text view in MM02, language is EN.

Please Help

hi

go in change mode of the sales order

MM02

in the basic data screen

on the top you will have an icon called ( ADDITIONAL INFORMATION )

click on that

in that you can maintain tha language as EN and give the description

i am sure this will solve the problem

In MM02,go to additional data you need to maintiain language EN.thencreate a sales order.

ur problem will be solved

In MM02, I think its in additional data you need to maintiain data.

Use t-code MM17,then select Sales Data for Material & execute,then click on data records to be created.now put material,sales org.& distribution channel for which u want ceate material,also put refrence value below

HI,

I think you need to check the language maintained at sales Org level while defining it. If you have maintained different language at Sales. Org level kindly change it and then check once again.

Extend material for "Sales: Sales Org. Data 1" , "Sales: Sales Org. Data 2" and "Sales: General/Plant Data" for sales area you are creating the order.

Dear Nand

In VA01, probably, you would have entered wrong sales area. Please try once again via VA01 if you are sure that the material is created in the sales area which you are using in VA01

Extend the material for the required Sales org& distribution ch. combination by t.code MM01 and fill up all the data.

Select the views which are required especially Sales org 1, sales org 2,Sales text, sales/ gen plant, accounting 1 etc.

Basic data are not required beacuse it neber changes as per Sales org & distribution channel.

Now you can process your sales with the material.
