error while creating material master

hi all,

i get the following error message while creating material. " The field Max. delivery qty is defined as a required field; it does not contain an entry". tried this-doesnt work . "Material Master (LO-MD-MM) ->Locking Material Master Records"

need help.

Dear leo

Can you please reconfirm whether it is Max or Min in material master.

Nevertheless, you can change the control from Required to Optional in OMS9

(Assuming it is Min Delivery Quantity)

You can either enter a value for the field and save the record or you can mak the field optional for the particular material type.

Steps are :

OMSR : Enter that field name and get Selection Group

OMS2 : click your material type and in next screen check Field reference that you have assigned for the material type.

OMS9 : Double-click Field Reference and select field selection Group & select optional Entry and save

go to OMSR AND CHECK WHEATHER THAT HAS BEEN MADE REQ ENTRY R NOT

Hi,

if it is not requires go to Tcode obd2, there u change from required entry to optional entry to max deliveryu qty. and save, now try to create new sales order.
