Install netweaver on a Standalone system

Hey,

I am new to netweaver and my questions seems to be stupid, but plz help me.

I would like to install netweaver on a standalone system. Is it possible:

I have gone thru the installation guide for NW04 at service.sap.com. I have jus got an idea abt the installation Procedures but not a clear picture of it.

I wud like to install on windows platform with SQL server as the data base.I have these questions?

1. Cud any one plz brief out the steps involved in installing the WAS ABAP + Java 6.4?

2.For installing solution mngr we need Web AS ABAP 6.2 and then how can I upgrade to 6.40?

3. After installing Web AS ABAP + Java , I wud like to install BW 3.5, then BW Java Components, then SAP EP and then SAP XI. Do we actually need to install SAP MI and SAP KW?

4. Any material other than the netweaver instal guide which explains step by step procedure to do the installation procedure?

All Suggestions are welcome and useful answers will be rewarded.

Hi,

1. If you system meets the Minimum hardware requirements specified in the installation guide then you can Install.

2. It would be good not to install all the Servers(BW,EP,XI) on a single server.

3. Installation guides, forums will be the Guide to installation.
