Mapping internal URL to Commercial URL

Hello All,

I want to assign my Web Dynpro applications URL to a commercial URL. How do I do this?

For exampple, URL of my Web Dynpro application at Development side is

http://was:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/<sometext>.com/<dcname>/<myAppName>;

But in Production side I want to put it as http://<text1>.<text2>.com

How to achieve this?

Hi

Here are two scenarios with you:

1. You can ask your network team to manage the external URL where the redirection would be to this URL.

It would be done at the proxy end. Its like URL A would be the external URL which would be maintained by the Network team and that URL would be mapped to the internal URL B.

2. You can install Web Dispatcher and redirection would be from that URL.

But in both of the cases you need the help of the Network team. They can easily assist you in this case.
