Runtime error after CCM Initialize.

Hi

We are on SRM4.0 and CCM is in the same box as of EBP.

After doing the necesary settings in SPRO, when I run the report /CCM/INITIALIZE_CME, i am getting runtime error.

Please suggest this is because of what and what can be the resolution.

Hi,

Have you assigned the CCM roles after generating the profiles for it?

Please check

1) Have you assigned proper CCM roles?

2) Do you have profiles generated for the roles assigned.

If you dont hve profiles then you will get a dump. This has to be done by PFCG --> menu --> utilitites mass generation and select CCM roles and generate.

When you execute the CCM initialize prog you have mark an X and then execute(F8) is wht my understanding is?

You have profiles also being seen in the roles right.

Once we had this issue and got solved when we could generate the proper profiles for those roles.

The error is resolved.

Ideally the next step after initialize is to get in through EDIT catalog. But once I click on edit catalog I am getting an error-Access not possible using 'NULL' object reference.

Am i missing out on something, do i need to do someother activity before i click on edit catalog tab.

Hope you have any pointers to it.
