Hiding sales office and sales group fields in VA01

Hi all,

I want to hide sales office and sales group fields in VA01 initial screen. How can i do it?

When i enter VA01 Tcode it should ask for Order Type, Sales Organization, Distribution Channel and

Division only.

I went to VOV8 Tcode and assigned variant name to OR order type in variant field and saved it. But still when i enter va01 it shows sales office and sales group. Can u please try and tell how can I do that step by step.

I checked the transaction variant with that link. According to that I have to create another transaction code.

But my requirement is to hide sales office and sales group in VA01 transaction code itself . I don't want to create another transaction code.

You can create a Transaction variant in T.Code: SHD0 and assign in the sales order document type for your sales order in the T.code: VOV8 in the Variant field under the Transaction Flow.

Theoritically it should work that way, I never did it personally but sure that it will work.

Try out and let us know.
