Hi,
I've SAP systems repeated in the left framework at IB52 transaction. I deleted the SAP system with cut button but when I save at the state bar in the button SAP page it tells me "No change made to installed base with number 1", so when I run IB52 transaction again the SAP system that I deleted appears again.
Please could you help me? How I can delete SAP system that I need?
At this moment I've:
SOL_MAN_DATA_REP
SAP Systems
SMG 0020276689
SD1 0020218226
SC1 0020218226
BWD 0020136872
SD1 0020218226 -->I want delete
SC1 0020218226 -->I want delete
Thanks in advance
Hi Raul,
I think the problem you described should be solved with SAP Note 1040301 or 1049800.

Hi Thomas,
When I try to delete a SAP System at the IBASE structure. I get a dump like:
Runtime Errors MESSAGE_TYPE_UNKNOWN
Program SAPLIBOFTE
Include LIBOFTEF3O
Row 51
Module type (FORM)
Module Name CHANGE_INSTANCE
Information on where terminated
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLIBOFTE" - in "CHANGE_INSTANCE".
The main program was "SAPLIBOF ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 51
of the (Include) program "LIBOFTEF3O".
I've applied SAP Note:
1136004 - Obsolete correction in note 1040301. SAP Note 1136004 references the program that appears in the dump (SAPLIBOFTE).
The other SAP Note that you recommend me, I haven't applied because my dump doesn't match with the symptom SAP Note 1049800.
After I've applied SAP Note 1136004 the same dump appears when I try to delete a SAP System at the IBASE structure.
Please, could you help me?

Raul
Hi Raul,
there are two ways to delete components/objects in IBase:
1) you mark the relevant object on the left side and press the "Cut" button above
2) you select the object in the tree (on the left side) which is one level higher than the system you want to delete. Then you mark the line with the system (on the right side) and press the "Cut" button on the right side
Did you tried both ways?
Will both cause the Dump?
Regards
Thomas
Hi Thomas,
I know teh two ways to delete components/objects in IBase, I detail you what happens when I try them.
>>1) you mark the relevant object on the left side and press the "Cut" button above
When I try this way. Fisrt I mark the relevant object on the left side and I press "cut" button, second I press "save" button and the system returns to the main IB 52 transaction screen and it tells me "No change made to installed base with number 1" If i return to the structure in the iview detail screen on the left side the relevant object that I had deleted returns to appears.
>>2) you select the object in the tree (on the left side) which is one level higher than the system you want to delete. Then you mark the line with the system (on the right side) and press the "Cut" button on the right side
When I try this way. First I select on the left side one level higher than the system I want to delete, second I mark the line the system (on the right side) and I press the "Cut" button on the right side, so a dump (runtime error) appears:
Runtime Errors MESSAGE_TYPE_UNKNOWN
Short text
Message type " " is unknown.
What happened?
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLIBOFTE" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
Trigger Location of Runtime Error
Program SAPLIBOFTE
Include LIBOFTEF3O
Row 51
Module type (FORM)
Module Name CHANGE_INSTANCE
Information on where terminated
Termination occurred in the ABAP program "SAPLIBOFTE" - in "CHANGE_INSTANCE".
The main program was "SAPLIBOF ".
In the source code you have the termination point in line 51
of the (Include) program "LIBOFTEF3O".
Please could you help me?
Thanks and regards

Hi Raul,
An additional comment on your IBase structure.
In the VAR scenario, I would expect to see all systems group under a customer number and not directly under SOL_MAN_DATA_REP.
Is your setup correctly?
Best regards,
Ruediger
