Hi,
we have defined several User Defaults and assigned them by system.
SYS1 = Default1
SYS2 = Default2
Of course Default1 and Default2 differ (e.g. in PIDs) depending on the system type.
The whole construct works perfectly when choosing either SYS1 or SYS2.
However, if we create a request containing both systems, the first User Default will be written to both systems:
SYS1 = Default1
SYS2 = Default1
Is there any workaround on this?
We definitely need the functionality of having multiple systems on a request.
Thanks,
Daniela
We use multiple user defaults in SP8 5.3. We have configured CUP --> User Defaults ---> user default mappings. If application = "COR" and Company = 'xxx' then use user defaults HR (with HR PIDS). If application = "WBS" and Company = 'xxx' then use user defaults NON-HR (with Non HR PIDS). It seems to be working.
Thanks,
Peggy

Hi Daniela,
You canu2019t provision multiple user defaults using request. This is as per the design, SAP were planning to have multiple user defaults for single request,But it was not implemented in AE5.2 actually.
For provisioning multiple user defaults for multiple systems, you need to approve requests for specific systems.
i.e. one system for one request.
Even this type of functionality is not avaliable in AE5.3.
Access Control 5.3 is in Rampup process.
