IS Retail: Promotions..

HI,

I have to create an interface between to IS RETAIL and POS system ( NON - SAP) to flow promotions data.

This is gng to be an Idoc- XI - File scenario.

Also, I have found the idoc for the same: WPDREB01.

NOw as i m a novice in idoc configurations ...i need some help on what are the configurations to be done from scratch on SAP side to trigger this interface and pass the data to XI using sender idoc adapter.

Also, would like to know what is the basic data type and message type for WPDREB01

Please use IDOC WP_PLU01 or 02

Transaction is WPMA and in new versions, there should be an own service for that.

Can u explain a bit in detail how to trigger this and about this idoc.

Go to transaction WPMA

You will see various boxes undeer data to be transferred such as "Article data" , "EAN refernences"...etc....

To trigger the IDOC WP_PLU02 you need to check the "Article Data" box. And enter the relevent criteria in it.

Press execute. You'll see an Idoc number.

Enter this IDoC number in WE02 transaction to check if it is the WP_PLU02 type and the data values it contains.
