Material Reservations

Dear all,

My requirement is as follows:

I have a stock of 100 PC in my plant storage location. I reserve 50 PC for a sales order number XYZ already created. I have used transaction code MB21 for creating the reservation, the movement type being "231" for sales order.

Requirements:

1. The system should reduce the stock quantity in the unrestricted part by 50 PC so available stock will be 50 PC.

2. I want that when ever the sales order is delivered the system should consume the quantities from the reservation part so next when I see the MMBE report, there should be "zero" quantity in the reservation part.

Please guide me as to how should I configure to fulfil this requirement.

Hello Allabaqsh,

check txn OVZ9, for the avlbly checking grp and rule combo, you might have to check the 'Include Reservations'.

Try this and let us know, if it helps--if so, plz assign points.
