Hi.
I have a big problem. When i started with XI, i made all my namespaces, mappings ... under a software component version called TEST.
Now, i've finished my interfaces and i want to copy them to other software component version. I'm having problems because this new software component version (different name) is in PRO machine and TEST software component version is in DEV machine.
How can i do a copy of Software component version?
I've tried with Release Transfer but doesn't work.
Thanks.
Hi Inigo,

you can do it with release transfer
(this is a standard way to copy between different software components)
Procedure:
1. import into DEV this new software component
(with the same name as on PROD box)
2. create new namespaces inside this new component
(they have ot be the same as namespaces in this old
software component) - exactly the same
3. then you can do your Release transfer and all objects
of from this old software component will be transfered
to the new one

Inigo,
I think, you can copy the mappings, data types etc into the namespace of the new sotware component. I remember doing that!

Hello Inigo,
Try Export from DEV box & Import into PRO box.
