Hi

Below are the definations of the terms and their main function- and to your question SCM technical will be an architect for the system design as far as technical aspects of the systems.

Please advise if you have any specific question.

SRM is Supplier Relationship Management: The term supply management describes the methods and processes of modern corporate or institutional buying. This may be for the purchasing of supplies for internal use, purchasing raw materials for the consumption during the manufacturing process, or for the purchasing of goods for inventory to be resold as products in the distribution and retail process.

The supply management function of an organization is responsible for various aspects of acquiring goods and services for the organization. In many organizations, acquisition or buying of services is called contracting, while that of goods is called purchasing or procurement

SCM is Supply chain Management: Supply chain management (SCM) is the process of planning, implementing and controlling the operations of the supply chain as efficiently as possible. Supply Chain Management spans all movement and storage of raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods from point-of-origin to point-of-consumption.

CRM is Customer relationship Management: Customer relationship management (CRM) is a multifaceted process, mediated by a set of information technologies, that focuses on creating two-way exchanges with customers so that firms have an intimate knowledge of their needs, wants, and buying patterns. In this way, CRM is intended to help companies understand, as well as anticipate, the needs of current and potential customers.[1] Functions that support this business purpose include sales, marketing, customer service, training, professional development, performance management, human resource development, and compensation. Many CRM initiatives have failed because implementation was limited to software installation without alignment to a customer-centric strategy.

BI is Business Intelligence: The term business intelligence (BI) refers to technologies, applications and practices for the collection, integration, analysis, and presentation of business information and also sometimes to the information itself. The purpose of business intelligence is to support better business decision making. It dates to 1958.[1] D. J. Power explains in "A Brief History of Decision Support Systems (DSS),"[2]

BI describes a set of concepts and methods to improve business decision making by using fact-based support systems. BI is sometimes used interchangeably with briefing books, report and query tools and executive information systems. Business Intelligence systems are data-driven DSS.

XI is SAP Exchange Infrastructure: SAP Exchange Infrastructure (SAP XI) enables you to implement cross-system processes. It enables you to connect systems from different vendors (non-SAP and SAP) in different versions and implemented in different programming languages (Java, ABAP, and so on) to each other. SAP Exchange Infrastructure is based on an open architecture, uses open standards (in particular those from the XML and Java environments) and offers those services that are essential in a heterogeneous and complex system landscape:

Hi Sandeep

Anything should be OK as you will be more on technical side and most of these modules technically may not be much different to pick up any time once gotten into one of them.

Hope I am able to answer your question

Thanks
