Option "Map Selected Fields and Substructures if Names Are Identical"

Hi.

I have an mega big XML (XD) as my source and the target is an idoc with same structure. I hoped I could use the option mention above, but the ikon is not activ. Can't use it.

Is there any option to activate this function ?

All ikons on the same line are "greyed down"(not activ).

My OS i Windows Vista.

Hey

There could be 2 reasons for this,first of all make sure you are in the edit mode and have selected the root node of both sender and receiver(you need to select them by holding Shift Key).

If that does not work,then it could be an issue with the Java version you are using,you need to use Java 1.4.2.if you don't have it,please download it and use that.Higher versions of JRE are known to give some issues in message mapping icons.

My problem was that I used v1.6.

Now I installed the JRE 1.4.2_16.

And it works now.

I hope this issue will be fixed on next release of JRE. or an workaround available when higher version of JRE is used.

The second option worked. I changed used JRE to 1.4.2_16, and set the Environment Variable.

Hi,

Just a quick check. select both the source and the target side Source nodes. The icon for "Map Selected Fields and Substructures if Names Are Identical" will be enabled only if the source and target nodes are selected.
