Hi

Apart from the standard SAP delivered reports, what are the other reports we have to maintain.

Please some body help me with a real time scenario and where do we configure and how do we configure.

Dear Paul

Wherever standard is not addressed to clients' requirement, we go for zee development and there is no thumb rule for this. Depending upon the requirement, we need to refer various tables and respective fields and develop the report.

Dear Paul,

Most of the standard report do not meet the requirement of the client. Reports being an important requirement, based on scope of the project, the reports are custom developed through Abap Program.

Functional Consultant requires to provide a functional specs to Abaper, based on which the report is developed. The important parameters which are included in functional specs are as follows:

1. Who is the owner of the report?

2. What is the objective of the report?

3. Tables & Fields included, along with the logic of joining different tables.

4. Logic to acheive the requirement.

& so on..

Actually, the functional Specs format varies from company to company for such 'Z' development.

That is about a vague a question as there can be. It all depends on client requirements.

Is this for an interview question?
