Weblog #1

Hi,

while working on my first SDN weblog I was investigating what would have been the first weblog on SDN ever? So IMHO I tried the following:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1 [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]

Interesting result...

(Didn't know up to know that SDN is managed by oreillynet.com even though Mark is an avitve member of this site)

P.S.:

1. What was the first blog in fact?

2. When was the official public start date for SDN?

SDN is not managed by O'Reilly net, our weblog system is based on O'Reilly software is all, and Mark Finnern is and has been for the last several years an employee of SAP.

As for your questions:

The first weblog was written by Dan Woods

/people/dan.woods2/blog/2003/06/24/how-i-learned-to-speak-sap

How I learned to speak SAP

2003-06-24 13:21:40

The second question, well it's hidden within the many weblogs and forums of SDN, 25 points if you can find it

1.

Thanks for answering #1 but when I want to have a look at the weblog by following the link I get an "CS Login" page and I don't know how to pass this?

2.

Yes I know that Mark is an employee of SAP but in one of his blogs he mentioned his acceptance to the O'Reilly community. I just wanted to call attention to the confusing error message.

3.

You may be certain that I'll try to catch the 25 points. (After receiving it I'll immediately order my 1/4k member t-shirt...)

Sorry, fixed the link.

I'm also a member of more than one community, the only confusion is when you saw the message from the wrong weblog link and say oreillynet.com

Mark is also the founder and host of the Bay area Future Salon but his heart is hear with us in SDN check out our SDN Community Podcasts you can hear it in his voice, when he doesn't speak so softly that is

I believe that SDN was lauched at the TechEd in Las Vegas in September 2003.

Here is a link that Mark posted on Future Salon.
