Batch-Specific Material Unit of Measure: calculate proportion.

Dear Experts,

Using active ingredients, I'm able to calculate the proportion based on the characteristic. For instance, I have a batch with 1000KG, that contains 10% of 'water', so the water weight is 100KG. No problems so far.

The question now is if I can use the same logic in an extended way. The client also has other characteristics, lets say 'iron', but this is calculated on the dry wieght (without the water). For example: a batch with 1000KG, contains 10% of water and 20% of iron. This means that there is 100KG of water, but 180KG of iron (1000KG - 10% of water)*20%.

Is this logic possible in standard SAP?

I think it will be difficult in doing the scenario using just the standard SAP. We will have to see if some development may be needed

Hey all,

I found something in standard SAP... You can use a dependency on the level of the batch class and in there it is possible to write some calculation code.
