Hello everybody!
We use SAP GUI 7.10 on Citrix Terminal Servers. Is it possible to disable the buttons
- new item
- change item
- delete item
at the SAP Logon Pad?
The saplogon.ini is locked by filesystem permissions. So the user gets an error message, but it would look better if the buttons are disabled, thus users even cannot try to use them.
Are there perhaps any registry keys?
Thank you very much!
Regards from Berlin
Michael

Hi
In SAPLogonPad "Click Top Left Corner"
Get to the options
Select "Disable system Edit Function".
May this help.
Or Best is to get the access of "SAPLGPAD.exe" inspite of "SAPLogon.exe"

That's it. I will evaluate the SAPLGPAD as it looks like a nice option for citrix.
Anyway as information:
This settings are stored in the saplogon.ini:
Configuration
WithWizard=1 // IF 0 the Item admin is more classic
ConfirmDelete=1 // explains itself
NoEditFunctionality=1 // Buttons for new,edit or delete items are not inplace
SapguiHexdumpActivated=0
SapguiTraceActivated=0
SapguiTraceLevel=2
SapguiNTCmdOpts=
Thanks a lot for this fast, accurate and helpful answer!
