Error "Unable to convert the sender service to an ALE logical system"

Hi,

I send I message from XI to R3 and I get the error "Unable to convert the sender service to an ALE logical system" in transaction "sxmb_moni". I've configured the idoc-adapter, as following:

-I have created a business system "r3sys_bs" with a logical system "r3system". This business system is the idoc-adapter. This logical system is also created in transaction "bd54". In the ID I have assigned the business system the logical system (adapterspecific identification).

So, this error still appears.

Can anybody help me please?

Regards

Stefan

Hi,

Open the Sender Business System or Service what ever you are using

Check whether the Logical system name is there or not.

If not goto change mode you can give any name for Logical system name and save activate.

try now

Hi,

our scenario is JMS --> XI --> IDoc

so, I have created a business system "jms_bs" without a logical system in sld, that I use for the jms-connection to another software. so, the business system is a "third party".

Then I have created a business system with assigned logical system for the IDoc-Receiver as I in my first posting mentioned.

Which of both business systems need a logical system?

Thanks

Regards

Stefan

sender business system

in your case "jms_bs"

See if logical system name is displayed in Adapter Specific Identifiers..

If not then go to change mode and use "Compare with SLD"..

because of this if logical system name is maintained in SLD, it will be displayed.

Sender business system ---> Adapter Specific Identifiers should not be blank

You need to specify a logical system name for your sender system (third party system) too...

1)In SLD, make sure that the sending business system has a logical system name.

2) in ID, go to the business sytem in change mode, then pull up menu Service-Adapter Specific Identifiers. If Idoc adapter LS is blank, click the button to get it from SLD. Then Apply.

Hi,

In the receiver agreement---> Header Mapping, specify the sender service.

This will solve your problem.
