three system TMS in one transport group, error tp parameter in QAS

Hi,

There is 3 system TMS, which is DEV (phycial system,transport domain controller), QAS (virtual system), PRD (virtual system).

And I tried to replace the virtual QAS with the phycial QAS with these steps:

1. excute STMS in DEV,delete the virtual QAS

2. in QAS, configure STMS with transport domain_DEV

3. in DEV,approve QAS as the sytem of transport domain_DEV (the QAS shows with transport group QAS)

4. changed the QAS transport group from group QAS to group DEV

5. configure and active the transport route as standard 3 system TMS

after the below steps, I checked system overview in STMS, in QAS, the tp parameter shows the transport directory is the local trans directory, not the transport directory in DEV. That's why I I can not find any transport queue in QAS system.But the file TP_DOMAIN_DEV also exist in the trans\bin directory of QAS.

after that,

1.I added the full authorization of trans directory for user sapserviceDEV and sapserviceQAS,

2.I cleared the files in the trans directory of QAS

3.I cleared the configuration of QAS,and reconfigued it

But I got the same error message.

Note: when I install the QAS,I fill in the hostname of QAS as the transport host.

How can I fix it?

May be there is something wrong in how the set up in TMS for QAS was done. Please refer this link and ensure all steps were taken:

I mean did you delete STMS in QAS originally?

I can not clear the TMS configuration by SE06, and I delete the TMS configuration in STMS.

And I also cleared all the files in trans directory...

I am crazying now... : - )

you can't delete the TMS with se06????

Are you sure? Because se06 is the only way i know to clean the whole TMS.

I had an inconsitant TMS Configuration with Servers which i can't delete from the TMS.

The only Way to get out of it was se06 and recreate the whole TMS.

Whats the Error in SE06?

After running SE06 the TMS Configuration must be empty. STMS should ask something like that "No TMS Configuration found, create new or join existing Domain?"

After I excute SE06, the TMS configuration still exists.

I should delete by the STMS menu...STMS---- extras---delete TMS configuration.

The problem solved after I reintall the QAS and fill in the dev host as the trans host during the installation.

Is your Transport Directory is exported to the QAS.

And is it mounted in the QAS from DEV.Can you see this in the QAS ?

Only the tp parameter shows the wrong trans directory.

And I can not find the file TPPARAM in
devhost\sap\trans\bin...

and the trans dir in tp parameter of QAS is
qashost\sap\trans\,

How can I change the QAS trans dir to
devhost\sap\trans ?
