Deletion job

Hi,

I have a question about the deletion job of the XI (not the one of the transaction sara).

Is it correct, that this job just deletes the messages which are not included in the 'defined interfaces for archiving' (sxmb_adm)?

Hi Thomas,

Messages that are not set to be archived are deleted by the delete job.

okay, that's fine.

Now I have another problem. I have read in the Documentation of the Transaction 'Define Interface for Archiving' the following...

Also note that you must decide which messages should be
archived before the first message has been processed,
since every message has the flag To Be Archived or To Be Deleted.

The problem is, that I have processed messages, which should be archived and are yet not defined in this list.

Is there a possibilty to do this afterwards?

Hi,

You got to manually delete those messages, like the documentation states every message has to be flagged either to be deleted or archive.

That would be very nice, thank you.

I found the flag in the XML Message...it is the SAP:InterfaceAction in the RunTime part of the SOAP (ARCH or DEL). Currently all messages in our P-System has the flag DEL. Is there a possibility to change the flag afterwards (without updating the database manually)?
