Unable to start SAPInst or startinstgui.bat for CRM2007 IDES

Hi All

I am trying to install CRM2007 IDES version on a windows I386 platform. There is no SAPINst available on teh root of the InstMaster CD. starting startinstgui.bat does not work as this results in a connection error.

Is there somewhere I can download SAPInst. I have tried running startinstgui.bat from a command prompt hoping it would extract installation files, i.e. SAPinst.exe, but no luck

On the root of the install master DVD, look for sub folders pointing to specific O/S and machine types. Inside of that sub-folder should be where the SAPINST is.

Also, make sure you have installed the correct JRE/JDK on your system before hand, and set JAVA_HOME environment variable.

Thank you for responding. I went through the availability matrix and CRM2007 is not available for windows 32 bit. Thats why SAPINST.exe could not be found.
