Hi,
to create a vendor using portal and storing in MDM, do we need to create iviews and workflow using Guided procedures
or is it necessary to have adobe interactive forms and use guided procedures to trigger workflow.

Hi Sonali,
You want to store Vendor information in MDM for that you need to create the structure i.e. repository. You can access this repository on the portal by creating the MDM System and connecting that system with this repository. You will get the entire field list present in the repository and you can use those fields in entering Vendor information using Item Details iView.

Hi Sonali,
MDM has the SCA files to provide interaction between MDM and Portal.Just you need to deploy these files and restart the portal server then you will get the MDM system template in which you need to specify MDM Server name and the repository mounted on that server.
For creation of record i.e. Vendor in your case you have to use Item Details iView.
For workflows you can use either Guided Procedures or UWL.
