what is difference between configuration and customization?
Dear Chandu,
Configuration means allready the data given by the Standard SAP but we need to arange that data in the proper as per our requirement.
Example:Pricing procedure dtermination
Customisation means the data not avail in the standard SAP so we need to develop with the help of ABAPer.
Example: Zreports,
I hope it will clear for you,

Configuration means with the avaiable functionality you are putting different value and determining something, e.g, Shipping point determination.
Customisation means you want to add some new functionality to the standard sap system through user exit etc.e.g, you want that storage location should always be defaulted in the sales order.
Hi Chandu
Configuration Means All functionalities already available in SAP , As per the client requirement you have to re structure them according to your naming conventions.
Customization Mean The Functionalities are not available in SAP, ABAPer has to develop the Zprogramme for the client requirement with the help of functional consultant.
