file to Idoc scenario

Hi,I am doing file to Idoc scenario. For the source file, the files can reside in different folders. Is it possible to handle the different folders in single communication channels or we need to create multiple communication channels for the different folders.

HI Manogna,

You can do this with single CC

In CC page Right after you specify File Name and Directory.

You have an option called Advanced Selection for source File.

Check that

and in the window below mention all directories and file names .

Hi Sheshagiri,

Each communication channel can only poll one directory (as of SP11). You would need to create a communication channel per directory you wish to poll. Each Receiver CC has its own polling schedule.

You can have multiple CC per interface, just build them in your integration scenario.

There are some changes from SP12, like dynamic filenames.

U can do withthe following procedure:

check advanced selection for source file.

add any number of directory locations there and add file names as you would put at top for all different directory locations.

Hi Manogna,

You can handle files from different folders. Use the Advanced Selection for Source File option and their you can specify this.
