Weight not flowing in MTO .

Dear All ,

user had created a MTO , it is having 25 line items as we see in MTO Display in overview under sales tab the weight is not coming in net weight column for one line item , I had also checked the M master in basic data-1 , here also the weight maintained is zero , pl tell me from where the weight is flowing in Sales order.

Hi,

The system calculates the net weight based on the order quantity for the item and the net weight proposed from the material master record. If the item has more than one schedule line, the system uses the total order quantity of all schedule lines to calculate the net weight. In sales documents where schedule lines are not allowed (contracts, for example), the system calculates the net weight using the target quantity.

You can change the value manually at the item level.

So you could check the change log for the sales order. Whether the user had entered the weight manually.

But please consider that if they enter the weight on VA01, there won't be change log created for it.

Dear Brother Smile ,

The reason that the material was not configured in M. master , hence it was confugured and then in Sales order as user had given the material length data as per requirement then the weight automatically displayed in line item .
