what is crc check error?

Hi friends,

when i am mounting server through console tool, it is throwing "file failed a crc check" message and i am unable to mount the mdm server?

why is it so and what would be the actual problem?

Hi Bharat,

Every new version and even a new patch application on existing Version of MDM expects some new version of GUIs to be installed. Please consult your basis guys for checking if the version and even patch is compatible with GUIs you are using.

Hello Bharat,

file failed a crc check

This is the problem because of differant version of MDM Server and your MDM Console.

Please check the version of MDM Clients (MDM Console, Import Manager, Data Manager etc..) and MDM Server. MDM Client and Server must be of the same version.

Install the same version of Server and the clients.

I hope this will clear your doubt and solve the problem.

Hi,

usually this error occurs, when the Console version and the server versions are different. Check whether you updated all components with the last patch.
