Change equipment category

Hi Experts:

I have the questions regarding on how to change the equipment category?

The user make the mistake on equipment creation for wrong equipment category. How to change it?

Dear,

Its not possible to change if number range is not matching.The reason why it is not possible : We can have different screens for different categories,So its only changing teh category  it self will not solve the user criteria.

Is existing created equipment created using any reference equipment?if so try using IE02 having same number range and same screen areas

If not , you can Just assign deletion flag and make it inactive and remove form existing f/l.Then create new equipment as per respective category.
