Hi all,
Some thing wrong with my NWDS. When I create a Web dynpro project and create a new view, the View designer occur runtime error. It look like a js error.
The error msg is "error: wdp_show_menu" is undefined. I guess that View designer may be not able to access some js files in some jars that cause the js error. I found the view designer will create a temp html file in my temp folder that contain js error. How to deal with it? otherwise I could only write web dynpro in pure java codes :(.
My NWDS version is :
SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio 7.1
SAP NetWeaver 7.1 EhP 1 SP00 PAT0000
Build id: 200805212305
Thanks a lot.

Naga

Thanks above,
I deleted the meta file & also update the NWDS, now it works fine.
Although I still not ascertain the cause of the problem, anyway it has been solved~
Thank you very much!

HI,
NWD 7.1 SP03 is available as trial version at SDN.
and its ramp up version is avaialble at SAP market place.
Did you tried making IE7 work offline?
either way use update sites to update your NWDS.
1. download update site form service.sap.com
2.In NWDS help->software update..there it will ask you to mention update site.
But as your first installed NWDS is giving you this error, i suggest you to make a fresh installation.
Hi Richard,
you are using which version of IE ?
possibly there are two reassons.
1. Your NWDS is not installed properly.
2. If it is installed properly, and you are having IE 7. then make IE 7 work as offline and then try.. it will work.
