Hi,

Texts are determined automatically when sales order is created.

Will system redetermine the texts if for example material is changed in sales order?

When will system not determine the texts already determined earlier?

When you change a material in sales order, text determination only occurs for this item and not for the entire document.

Other times when text determination occurs is when you change sold to party (changing sold to pary is possible only if there are no subsequent documents).

If you change ship to party, no text determination occurs.

Thanks. I have another question on text determination. How can i analyze text determination.

If we do not get desired results as per configuration done in IMG, how could we correct this. Is there any procedure?

In sales order on the text tab screen you will find pushbutton by name display log.

Click that button to see text determination analysis.

If results are not as expected, go to transaction VOTX, and from menu bar select Texts -> Generate access.

This should solve your problems.
