Hi All,

I am an SAP MM/PP resource and my client is now implementing DMS and we are about to start

Blue print Phase.Can some one please help me with Sample Blue Print document for DMS.

Hi Babu,

Initial requirements of DMS while integration is:

1) First need to know whether Installation of Content Server is required based on the volume of files uploaded by the client per day and keeping in focus for how many years this storage is required.Also, need to know whether installation of TREX engine is required for searching of the documents.

2) Need to understand the clients actual process so dat it can be configured in SAP.

Following are the points which need to be focused while preparing Business Blue Print.

The template for BBP will be provided by the client itself but these points has to be focused.

Business Process Overview Customer Expectation

SAP System Functions (Process Flow )

Transactions / Programs / Reports / User Exits

Description of Functional Deficits

Approaches to address Functional Deficits

Interfaces

Authorisations

SAP Configuration

Reporting Requirements
